okay, hello to anyone taking the time to read this. it’s just an introduction to this blog, more specific than the simple words that I wrote down a while back to describe shortly what is “me”. here is the basic information you might want to know;

• the name is amanda. some of my friends use the nickname amdy, which my tumblr-name is another version of.
• 90liner, which means that I will be 21 this year.
• I am swedish.
• but fluent in english as well, and I would say that I’m awesome at norwegian too.
• I am currently living in Seoul, South Korea, the Sinchon area, and attenting Yonsei University, the Language Institute.
• I am level 2 in Korean, but it doesn’t mean I’m very good at it.
• I have two brothers, one younger and one older, and a big sister. but it doesn’t stop there. I have two extra brothers, from my father’s wife.
• I graduated two years ago.
• I had three years of musical education, from singing, to choir, to stage expession.
• I’m actually very good at singing.
• the fall after I graduated I started working at Subway, where I will probably have a job until the day I die.
• I used to depend on Green Day’s music. Billie Joe Armstrong will be my hero for eternity, and I will always be thankful that they helped shaping me to be the person I am today.
• I have a heart for punkpoprock-music (I hate describing it), bands like panic!at the disco, all time low, you me at six, the cab, linkin park, to mention a few.
• but the last 2 years I’ve been very hooked on korean pop music.
• which means that I’ve had had a very serious crush on super junior’s donghae since then.
• and on super junior as a whole too.
• I’ve seen Green Day 3 times live.
• and Super Junior’s Super Show 2 times.
• and since I live in Seoul I’ve had the amazing pleasure of seeing/meeting them a couple of times so far.

• I like to write. I tried music, but it didn’t work out, so I stick to fluffy fan fiction instead.
• but my inspiration have been dead for too many months now.
• I lived in norway for 6 months, 2010-11.
• I have a very very very very very bad habit of biting my nails.
• I want to have long hair.
• when I was young I tried forcing my parents to call me anja, for some strange reason.
• I wear glasses occasionally.
• I have never been in a relationship (no, I don’t count two weeks in the 7th grade..)
• and I’d love to say that it is all because of my own choices, but no, I mostly have had bad luck.
• I have this sick fascination with everything involving serial killers. it’s not as bad as bella’s fascination, but criminal minds really is the best thing ever.
• I think it’s important to show to a friend that you really care, whether it’s buying a bag of chips when they might be hungover, or being there when things really turn shitty.
• my chinese name is 玫瑰[mei gui]. a man at a chinese bar in kunming gave it to me. it means rose.
